The Unicorn Quest #1 - Kamilla Benko

Claire and Sophie Marintinson did not expect to see a ladder in their Great-Aunt's old fireplace. But they did. Curiosity overtakes them and the sisters climb up, up, up into the chimney and out. But... they don't end up on the roof. Instead, they end up in Arden, a wonderful world full of magic and mystery.
But Arden is not as perfect as it seems to be. The land that was once filled with magic and unicorns is changing. For guilds of magic no longer trust one another.
As Sophie and Claire soon find out, it's now their job to save the world they have discovered.

The Unicorn Quest #1 - Kamilla Benko

What I thought of it:

This book, at first was very, very boring for me. The characters were okay, but I didn't really enjoy it. I mean, the first thing that caught my eye was the word "unicorn." And when I started reading, there were no. Unicorns. :0
But then, later, I read it again, and I definitely think that it was better. In my mind, at least. The description is really well written. For example, (this sentence is not in the book) the ladder that crept up the murky black pit of a chimney gradually disappeared. The reason this is really good is that the words paint a picture in your mind. And that just makes the story better!
Where I Got It:

Well, I got it at Barnes and Noble (a store), but you can buy it here, on Amazon!

Amazon (the word Amazon is a link, by the way)! Enjoy and get reading!

What You Should Know:

    1. Lol, of course I like unicorns (•Ï‰•)
The ending almost made me cry. Thinking about how tired I was, I might have cried for real.
