                                    K0-7M0 has never had a name. Or anything you could call a life, for that matter. She lives in the humans' research facilities, all alone, until a new animal comes in. He's a dog, talkative, and very whiny. But Kozmo, as he named her, and the new dog help each other escape.  In the not-so-wonderful world outside the facility, Kozmo meets a bunch of hybrids like her. Their leader, Castor, a feisty eagle-dog. But within the blink of an eye, they're being chased. So Kozmo has to do something she's never dreamed of doing before: trust the others. 

  Castor, a street dog living in a dystopian world, lives in a pack with his brother, Runt. Together they survive the Humans' crusherslushers and hunt enough food to survive. But when Castor gets captured by the Humans for a gladiator-like game called the Unnaturals, he's turned into an eagle-dog. And soon, as he barely lives through the match-ups he's put against with other mutants, Castor knows he'll soon have to defeat the Invincible.  And Castor knows he  can't defeat the Invincible.  But he and his friends can.

 Spoooky... As Halloween draws closer (only 5 days!!!) I have decided to postpone my book reviewing for today and write a spooky tale! Or about how a mysterious box of vials, the Symphony of Smells, sends them on the trail of a magician who has vanished under strange (and stinky) circumstances. And he certainly wouldn't want you to know about the hair-raising adventures that follow and the nefarious villains they face. You see, not only is the name of this book secret, the story inside is, too. For it concerns a secret. A Big Secret.

   Max's parents are both going away to get his mom better medical care. They leave him at their house with his cousin, Alex. Alex is funny, and a great cousin. When she and Max realize that his parents have to pay bills, they know that they need to get money. How? After selling everything in Max's house, they only have 1,000 dollars. That's hardly enough.  After they find a mysterious chest in a secret room in Max's house, they sell it since they can't find a single thing in it. Alex and Max soon realize there is something in there... something that will change their lives. 

  Kendra and Seth aren't invited to the family cruise almost their whole family is going on. They're taken to their grandpa Sorenson's house, which seems kind of bland and boring at first. But as things go on... Kendra and Seth start to think that there might be more there than meets the eye. 

  Arrietty, and her parents, Pod and Homily, are borrowers. Tiny humans who live in human houses, taking what they eat and the things they use for themselves. Arrietty and Homily, since they are female, are forced to stay down, under the floorboards of their house, living a "nice and cozy" life. But it's boring, especially if you're a child. There's a human boy up there - in the house- and Arrietty really is desperate for a friend...
