The Borrowers #1 - Mary Norton
Arrietty, and her parents, Pod and Homily, are borrowers. Tiny humans who live in human houses, taking what they eat and the things they use for themselves. Arrietty and Homily, since they are female, are forced to stay down, under the floorboards of their house, living a "nice and cozy" life. But it's boring, especially if you're a child. There's a human boy up there - in the house- and Arrietty really is desperate for a friend...

What I thought of it:
The Borrowers is such a great story because it really makes you reconsider how you would feel if you were a tiny little human. You might think that you'd be sleepin' on everyone's marshmallows, but NO. You have to survive out there! There are big stompy feet! And cats! *And worst of all, mOtHs!* The borrowers have a tough life when the rat-catcher chases them out of their home... hence The Borrowers... AFIELD! And so, without further ado, I present to you... How I Found Out About It!
