The Dream Twister: Part Two
Hey guys! I am utterly happy to present to you: Part two of the Dream Twister! Enjoy and have a great Tuesday :D
The window cracked, sending shards of glass skittering across the floor. The fan that hung from the ceiling swung back and forth, dangerously close to falling. Was this Peter’s dream? He couldn’t be sure. The room he was standing in looked just like his own. But there was something that didn’t seem right.
Peter looked around the room, kicking the walls in case they were fake. The walls were not fake at all.
One thing that was different from his room was a pot of flowers in the center of the room sitting on a coffee table. They were infested with slugs and mites, the leaves bit and rotted.
A notebook lay open on a dresser near the door. Peter crept over, interested in what it said. He flipped to the beginning and read.
I didn’t want this. None of us did. We just wanted book recommendations. My friend Carly recommended The Dream Twister, which was supposedly a “scary” novel. I read it, along with Joseph and Umani. All of us agreed that it wasn’t the least bit terrifying. We had been having some nightmares during our book reading, but they didn’t have anything to do with the book.
These nightmares continued even after we had donated the book to a library and forgotten about it. Sometimes, I had the same one that Joseph or Umani had. We -somehow- could meet each other in our dreams. It was so weird, and we tried to discover how this had happened. We did and found out tha
And that is it for today. I hope you enjoyed!
That was an awesome cliffhanger, can't wait for the next part! Never thought you'd write something spooky ( or is it scary ), anyway you've done it well. <3
ReplyDeleteOmg yes. The book I'm writing isn't really scary at all (so far only one animal has died). I wrote this near Halloween and I guess I had the spooky vibes so I somehow became capable of writing this. ¯\(°_o)/¯
DeleteThat explains some things......anyway I love your stories:)
